Spreading God’s Love One Christmas Shoebox at a Time
Operation Christmas Child or the Shoebox Ministry has become an extremely important ministry to our church. Individuals and families are encouraged to fill a shoebox which will be sent to children in impoverished countries around the world. The box contains toiletry items, school supplies, small toys and lots of love and prayers. The First Baptist Church King City hosts an annual Packing Party where hundreds of boxes are packed and prepared. The church also serves as a drop off site for shoeboxes coming from the community and surrounding area.
